Is there a way to view .doc's using documentation

Post by jmonl337 » 19 Jan 2008 6:47

We run Control-M server/agent/EM on version 6.2. All of the job documentation that we have for each job is kept out on a network drive, which I am able to access via "Doc Lib" field. The issue I'm running into is that all of our documents are created as .doc (MS Word) and contain Images and Rich Text. if I point the "Doc Mem" to a specific .doc, nothing but garble is produced when I right click on a job in EM and choose "Documentation".

Is there any third party application that I can use? Any options available I am open to. Thank you!

I have never heard bout it. No documentation mention.
How about write only the network path for documentation in doc lib?
So anyone, who want to see doc will get the path to word document.
