IN Condition dependecy required

Post by DhirajRay » 05 Aug 2015 4:44

Hi Experts,

I have two jobs:

Job 1 runs from Monday - Friday
Job 2 runs from Sunday - Thursday

Job 2 has a dependency on Job 1 so Job 1 (OUT) Condition going to Job 2 as (IN) condition with ODAT. This setup works fine from Monday till Thursday.

On Sunday Night, when "Job 2" comes to ControlM it waits for "Job 1" OUT condition (for Sunday) but unfortunately "Job 1" finished on Friday so it doesn't get it.

Here are more details : Job 2(date : 08/02) and waits for Job 1 condition for (08/02) but database has "Job 1" condition as 07/31. We need to run "Job 2" on Sunday night with "Job 1" Friday's condition.

If I create replica of "Job 2" and keep it for Sunday night then which date I need to select for "Job 1" condition. PREV will not work here as "Job 2" previous scheduling date was 07/30.

Please provide valuable inputs on this case.

Thanks

Hi DhirajRay.

You can use ctmldnrs to load conditions on Sunday. That utility works in Control-M/Server and let you add conditions.
