CTRL-M Database licensing

Hi.

How do we license the database where CTRL-M is installed?

I have read in other forums that if you installed BMC CTRL-M on Oracle, then it is a black box package, i.e. you do need to buy separate db licenses.

Please share any information/advice.

Hi man, in Ctm v6.3 oracle is embeeded and you don't need to pay another license. But in Ctm 7.0 BMC dismount oracle and set postgrees as native database for Ctm, so, you need to pay a license if you want to use Oracle with ctm 7.0
