Post by Pinka » 25 Jul 2011 6:02

I have admin rights but still can't see Administration Facility in Control-M. What could be the reason ?

Start ->Programs -> CONTROL-M Enterprise Manager 6.2.01-> Administration Facility

For admin facility, you need database client.

No need a database client for admin facility (just for reporting facility)
Can you ping the hostname on witch is installed the Control-M/EM Server?
try to telnet <hostname> <port> to validate your communications with the server.

I beleive you did need a database client for v6.2.01. This need was removed in 6.4.01 leaving the DB lcient only need for reporting. This is now overcome in v7 as well.

administration courses

The Online administration courses are based upon adult flexible learning and are structured to suit those that would otherwise find it difficult to find the time to attend a course with a strict schedule. Due to this flexibility there is a lower dropout rate thus saving students time and money vested in their desired outcomes.
