how to run manually ecs maintag

Post by virgiliopadios » 21 Feb 2011 8:58

Hi, Gurus.

Good day.

I would like to ask on how to manually run ecs maintag on our CTM server.

At this moment we have an issue that maintag is currently down.

%log> ps -ef | grep main
ctmem2 843914 1 0 13:36:37 - 0:43 ecs.maintag

Appreciate your immediate response.

Thanks.
Virgilio

The ecs.maintag is the EM Configuration Agent...

On your Em server as EM user: root_menu (login) and select option 1 you will then get to this menu...

Activation Menu
---------------

Select one of the following options:

1 - Check All

2 - Start All
3 - Start CORBA Naming Service
4 - Start CONTROL-M/EM Configuration Agent
5 - Start CONTROL-M Configuration Server

6 - Stop All
7 - Stop CORBA Naming Service
8 - Stop CONTROL-M/EM Configuration Agent
9 - Stop CONTROL-M Configuration Server

p - Previous Menu
q - Quit

Enter option number --->

Hi,

You can also see scripts located on <$HOME>/scripts> directory of the user <emuser>

- check_config_agent
- stop_config_agent
- start_config_agent
Best regards
Walty
