6.4 OVER 6.3

Hi,
There are no cons, only pros:
Here's my top 10:
1. Simpler installation.
2. Configuration Manager has expanded scope (recycle of agents, GUI-based interface to nodes and remote hosts and creation of ssh keys).
3. find and update - is much better than previous.
4. easier grouping and filtering of alerts, conditions and other entities through .NET technology.
5. ability to save the workspace as xml (as well as draft – drf).
6. Job version and history management, including the ability to manage version of deleted jobs, and to compare between two jobs or two versions of the same job.
7. Open-source lightweight database option – providing a full dedicated database option for Windows environments.
8. Periodic statistics, making BIM and Forecast much more powerful.
9. Major enhancements to BIM, making it a hard to resist product.
10. More up to date. Will be out of support 2 years later than 6.3.

Simpler installation, but not simpler migration, if you don't want to use the migration tool kit, as you won't migrate all data.

As from 224 / 6.0 / 6.1.00 to 6.1.03 the control-M and Control-M EM shéma has been changed.
So XML export/import should not work as it was possible from 6.2 to 6.3

Yeah, migration is the one place I had any real issue with 6.4 that I can recall. Had issues with Control-M Server authorizations which got corrupted but was able to fix it fairly easily.
