Doc-member and Doclib on central place

Post by Janctm » 21 Jun 2010 2:49

Hello,

Is it possible to have doc-members on a central place ?

On tab 'General' i have CONTRLM A
On tab 'execution' , node id, i have Unix B, C, D etc

When a script runs on B,C or D , i want to have access to documentation on machine CONTROLM A. Is this possible. ?

Now i must place the documentation on several machines. if changes are nessecary on each server they have to be modifed. (work around)

Hi,

You can try to move your documentation to a shared point like:

Doc Path = //my_share_server/my_share/my_doc/
Doc File = my_jobname_doc.txt (only txt files are allowed)

I prefer to use the Activate Application functionality.
Using "Activate Application" functionality you can invoque a lot of pgm (.bat, Word, Excel, PDF, Internet Explorer and more ) directly from the GUI and make a link where the job's documentation is stored.

I've put an example in this post
Best regards
Walty
