Unix Migration from 6.3 to 6.4 - No export option

When i install the migration toolkit and i run the migration command i only have the Import option.
Without that folder i am not able to do what i need, that is export from 6.3.

Hi,

I suppose to refer about CONTROL-M/EM migration.
It's correct, this folder is never created.
Please refer to the CONTROL-M/EM Migration Guide (p18-21)

The menu only has the Import option. No Export option is there.

On server 6.3 normaly i thinks you have menu with functions:

1) Validation
2) View
3) Export

On server 6.4 normaly i thinks you have menu with function:

1) Import Data

Correct. But what i have is on 6.3 only the option Import.
Not sure what needs to be done in order to get those options.
I had remove the migration toolkit couple of time and installed from new but same thing happens.
On the EM migration toolkit and on the CTM Server migration toolkit is the same. Only the import option is available.

The system was migrated from 6.2 to 6.3 and i read somewere that the migration toolkit decides what needs to be installed so i am assuming that the installation file is installing only the import option because of the last upgrade.

Not sure if we need to delete some file or it is a flag. I am stuck.

what you need to install on both version is the migration tool kit from the target version (6.4).
So you need to install 6.4 migration toolkit on 6.3 old version and 6.4 new target.
It will ask you for an export on old version, making a tar file ExportForMigration.tar then you copy it to the target where it regonize the 6.4 version.
As it's the 6.4 migration toolkit, it should ask for import purpose only.

Is working now. I did install the wrong migration toolkit. 6.4 installed and now works fine.
