Unique Job count .

Post by saxenaa » 21 Nov 2011 1:02

Hi,

Our BMC maintenance agreement is determined by the number of UNIQUE jobs ran in ControlM on a daily basis. We purchased 4000 jobs. It is on the honor system. I want to keep track of these numbers The process we have is tedious and time consuming. us this utility and I hope that it makes our lives easier when calculating the job count.

I want to calculate all jobs executed in a day or all UNIQUE jobs in a day? The job count must be UNIQUE jobs. If a job is a cyclic job, then the count for that job on a given day would be 1.

It would be nice to have only the count and not a list of all the jobs.

Any help?
Sincerely,

There is a tool used by BMC to count scheduled jobs: CONTROL-M Job Count Utility (JCU).
It can be executed by a Control/M agent, but it also has a GUI for user executions.
I think you can download it from BMC site.
