Scheduler Usage

HI All,

I am a novice in control-M. I want a create a job which has to run a report in reporting facility daily.
I understood that there are 2 ways to do that

1) By selecting job type - Control M report. but I am unable to fill the report parameters under the tab report.

2) by running batch file with emreportcli utility. here also I am unable to change the dates dynamically. whenever i run the batch file the template will produce the same report as we are not changing the dates.

Could someone please help? Any recommendations will be highly appreciated.

Create new job with the follow coomand to genertate the report for the failure for a day.
Use the following command to get

ctmlog list %%A 0630 %%B 0630 | grep -i "ENDED NOTOK" |mailx -s
"CONTROLM JOBS FAILURE REPROT" mail id

Mail id:- specify the mail id that u want, so that u will recevie mail with job failure details.

From morning 0630 to next day morning 0630.

With running jobs from the reporting facility you first need to have an agent on the box that the reporting facility is on. you can then 'import application forms' from your control-M desktop. This will add a Report TAB to the job type. That is where you can select the report and add parameters.
