AND/OR in Steps

I am new to ControlM and scheduling. I have been trying to figure out how the AND & OR was placed into some of our job steps. I have read several threads that indicate that AND & OR can't be used in the steps, but if that is the case (and I can't see anywhere in the steps tab of the job editing form to add it)...how did the AND and OR get there?

Hi,

What i know is we can't use And -Or in steps tab of job editing form.
We can use only in Conditions tab. It's same as logical AND -OR type.

In some of our jobs that are currently running I can find examples of step codes where the first step is "And" and then each subsequent step (whether its is a DOOK or DO NOTOK) is listed as "Or". I'm thinking that this is added by the system somehow.

Example:

On Stmt=* Code=*ERROR at line* And
X DO NOTOK
On Stmt=* Code="ORA-* Or
