Why you dont rerun the entire table once terminated every 4 h?
So you have one only run at once and only if the prevous is terminated ok.
I use this manner and is flexible and robust and you have also less jobs in AJF so you can also control them better.

To have a global variable list you can use the utility ctmvar in a job:
ctmvar -action LIST

I think that for your purpose can be more simple

To avoind the tables or jobs were ordered with the same order date, the manner I think isnt deleting some informations, but is related to the order method.
So please tell us in witch manner the tables are ordered ?

Resources: there are control resources and quantitative resources.
For the use see the ControlM user guide.

For nodes.... are the agents were execute jobs, install agents and than you can see and configure them. See the administration and installation guide for details.

If you have Enterprise Manager, to have a list of all the jobs you can "load" all the tables, view as job list and then export as xls file.

In the jobs definition, in execution panel: check CONFIRM.
Then Write and upload the table.
(If you have the Enterprise manager you can do on the ControlM Desktop the change even for MVS server).

You can use the PRECMD or POSTCMD.

You can at the end of the jobA, put in the set panel:
POSTCMD=sleep 180

Or you can put in the jobs B:
PRECMD=sleep 180.

So the second jobs starts only in the first is ended and the first thing it do is wait 30 seconds.

but I want to get access in such away that I can create ,run ,stop jobs from command line
For control jobs use the ctmpsm utility on server cmd line.
For more detail see the ControlM utility guide.
