Font size problem with EM Reporting in batch

Hi, I have a very peculiar problem, when I run the Max Usage report (v6.3) with a Control-M job, the report’s font size is somehow increased. It’s increased so much that the report that is usually on 3 pages are then spread over 120 pages. But when I run the same report manually from the EM Reportin...

Thanks.

Also had that in mind. Another way is to use SETVAR, but the syntax has issues when used on windows.

Do you possibly have another trick or tip for passing variables directly back into the Control-M job from the script you run?

Passing variables from a script to a Control-M job

Hi,

I’m running Control-M 6.3.01 on windows. My question is, what is the easiest way to pass variables from the scripts I run with Control-M back to jobs?

Hi, thanks for the assistance.

Where do I find the alert on abend em parameter?

I thought the EU_handler file will be there as default, but it is not. Do you possibly have an example file for me?

Setting up ctmping with WatchDog

Hi, I'm trying to setup ctmping with WatchDog to monitor my agents, but can't seem to get it working/appearing in the Alerts window (6.3). Below are the WD entries in my config.dat and the agent list text file. What should I change or add? # WatchDog WD_INTERVAL 6 CTM_PRM_ENABLE_UE Y WD_USEREXIT_NUM...

Hi,

You can also use D2W1 in the Week Days – Scheduling tab.

Where your start day of the week is Monday, D2 is Tuesday and W1 is week 1.

You can double check your scheduling parameters with Forecast.

Hi,

In the Desktop you can load all your jobs for that Control-M Server, then use the Edit - Find Jobs option with criteria of your specific datacenter. The jobs will be highlighted, and you can delete it after double checking you have all the correct ones.

Hi,

You can use 2 ON - DO NOTOK statements, where you use ?'s as placeholders for hundreds and thousands.

Example:
ON - Stmt=* - Code=*finished with ??? failed objects* - DO NOTOK
and
ON - Stmt=* - Code=*finished with ???? failed objects* - DO NOTOK

Hi,

The table in the Control-M Server DB you are looking for is CMR_RUNINF, but it’s only populated by the data of jobs that ended successfully.
