we are facing the below error in Control-M AFT account


Unable to validate local user 'controlm' on host 'Local'

The same account is passing in validation test in connecting to some other agent.

I know this is an old post.. but Even we faced the same issue as our few cyclic jobs ended with error message as "RFC BAPI_XMI_LOGON - RFC_CLOSED" for few runs alone though they ended successfully for other runs.. Can you please suggest on this.

Need someone's help in understanding the below

on running shctm for the first time the process "p_ctmcs" was not displaying in output but then when I held one job and ran this shctm again.it (p_ctmcs) reappeared.in output.

I have provied archived view point access to few users yesterday but its reflecting for some users while for others its still not reflecting.

They have closed and reopened thier session but of no help.

Can someone please help on this ?

Can please someone suggest me why AS_*._log are formed in proclog directory of Agent.

Also One job is getting "disappeared" every time it runs on the same agent.

How to take backup of alerts before erasing them thru erase_alerts..I want to take automatic backup without need of exporting them in excel manually..kindly someone suggest on the possibilities..

Also please guide if I can use date parameter in erase_alerts as auto edit variable...

Anyone..Please.. share ur inputs..

I am using erase_alerts utility to clear off old alerts..but password for configuration manager is exposed in the command line of the job designed for purpose..kindly let me know is there any way to overcome this..so that password can remain protected..
