There can be many reasons why your account doesn’t validate. Check this whether you upgrade or not...

1. Firewall rules
2. SFTP not enabled/allowed
3. Password incorrect
4. User doesn’t have read/write permissions to directory/file

Can you perform the SFTP from Command line? What OS?

With running jobs from the reporting facility you first need to have an agent on the box that the reporting facility is on. you can then 'import application forms' from your control-M desktop. This will add a Report TAB to the job type. That is where you can select the report and add parameters.

Maxwait is only good if the job never ran, once it runs successful even if cyclic is selected new-day will wipe it out. Why don’t you set it to order in everyday with the proper conditions? If that is not what you need than questions for you: When you perform a 'why' on the job what does it say? Wha...

Hey, I just tested this out (Control-M 6.4 distributed) and it seems to do what you need... you assign a global variable... %%\abcdate = %%$PREV (Note the ‘$’ to give it a 4 digit year and ‘\’ to make it global) • First I set up a calendar that had today and the previous date of June 03. • I then se...

In order to do a find and replace you need to identify a common character string that can be used. In your case the character string would need to be at the end of every description... for example if all the descriptions end with a period '.' you could then use it to find '.' and replace substring w...

Try this:

1. On General Tab only use: Move
2. On Commands tab: use the FTP post command to rename (make sure you do it on the correct server)

That should work with full paths.

Why not just use the full path?

...As I believe it does everything in correlation to the user home directory. If you use: ../../ it is doing so from the user home directory.
