Thanks for the reply nicolas...but the job wasn't a User daily job...it was a normal .bat job that runs daily at xx:yy time...more help needed...:(

I think..most of us did not get the issue. Confirming the job was only for the purpose of rollout, normally the cyclic job runs as described under From and until. Cyclic job issue

We have a cyclic job. that run every 5 min from 7:15 Until 04:55. It an FTP job. We have a long running shout. Due to rollout the job were set to confirm but the guys forgot to confirm and it did not run for 24 hrs. What we need is whenever the job does not run, we get informed by shout or something...

Explain more on this...what exactly do you want to do?

Shout when the cyclic job fails for the third consecutive time or it fails for the third run only?

I want to know the use of a dummy job to create and delete conditions.
I see an example
the dummy job gives an out condition as dummy-ok **** for any ODATE
and another job deletes this condition by dummy-ok $$$$ -

Can anyone explain it a little more?

Simple...just hold the second job and remove the in condition that comes from the 1st job from the conditions tab.
