Have you tried to use ctm_menu?
Use option 9 - Agent Status
Select 4 - Delete agent platform entry and then specify the entry you want to delete.

I have an AS400 job that by default when it enters a wait status, it produces an Alert in the alert facility of Control-M.
Is i possible to send the same messagwe as a mail too?

If ctmserver process was started before you defined the variable I believe that you cannot use it. Yo should restart control-m server after varaible definition.
