Hi Rashid,

Thanks for the reply...

Do you know what the difference is between the different protocol versions ?

I understand that Server and Agent needs to be the same version but what is the difference between say running 07 and 08 besides the obvious as stated in my first post.

Thanks.

I've come across this same issue at a customer site. and Yes it is a bug. the alert is just a regular alert and it appears to occur with ctm installations using existing oracle databases. the fix to change the value WD_CTMEXIT_2_CMD_LINE -LIMIT 90 to WD_CTMEXIT_2_CMD_LINE -LIMIT 99 or to disable the...

Hi Venkateshwarulu This might depend on what platform you're using but on the control-M server there's a command called: ctm_agstat the syntax of this command in your case would be. ctm_agstat -LIST xxxxxxxxxx It will return the status of your agent. Now you can use the utility ctm_agstat as a contr...

I have seen at a customer site that they use "blat" for Windows command line mailing. A quick look at blat doco appear to support the sending of attachments, this needs to be verified but worth looking into as blat is open source.

you might defined an agent that may not exist in your job definition. So what control-m does is it tries to discover this agent. Look for this job and remove the entry under node id. next step is to remove it from <control>/Data/Agstat Else. The other thing it could be is that. Your job needs to be ...

No problems at all. When you installed control-M server 6.4 it would of installed a 6.4 Agent locally. Using the COnfiguration Manager go to components --> New --> Remote Host. Choose where the remote host is located and then define it as WMI. You then just have to create a sysout directory on the w...

I think it's because AFT has full control of the file transfer it may not like it when EFT changes things. Have you tried in the AFT form under 'advanced' -> rename destination file feature? You can turn on AFT debug trace on in File Transfer CM -> Configuration Management and check out the Agent/AF...

ordering a job will execute jobs according to scheduling criteria . Forcing a job will execute regardless of this scheduling a criteria. e.g if you have a job the runs tues and sundays and you order it on monday it won't appear in AJF for monday. but if you force the job on monday it'll run instantl...
