you should really consider an upgrade as EM 6.0.02 has not been supported since October 2004 and may not actually work properly on newer desktops.

If you cannot upgrade and must have this working, I suggest you put back your old desktop Windows version.

Hi.

By default, in V7, a BIM job is created as a job type JOB. I suspect this is your problem as this will expect a filename and filepath.

Best Practice is to create BIM jobs with a tasktype of DUMMY

You could also use the @TIME variable on the dependency which will add the order time to the dependency name.

Just a thought.

Hi Cliff. The count you see in the GUI is a total based on the viewpoint you have open. Therefore if you open the default view of ALL JOBS, the totals will be every job in the AJF regardless of date. When users add jobs to the AJF (order or force) the job counts will be increased. If you hold some j...

I beleive you did need a database client for v6.2.01. This need was removed in 6.4.01 leaving the DB lcient only need for reporting. This is now overcome in v7 as well.

for compatibility with Windows 2008 R2 you need to be on Control-M Version 7, so no option other than to downgrade your Windows machine to one that was supported by 6.2, but you will still be out of support.

If no housekeeping is performed on conditions, they will remain in the database for one year. This is determined by the ODAT which is DDMM (or MMDD). They will only be removed at the start of newday for the ODAT. If your conditions file get very large you may suffer performance issues, so it is high...

Start planning your upgrade to version 7 and raise a support case for the AMIGO process to help with you upgrade planning.

Altrnatively, downgrade your desktops to a windows version that supports the out of support Control-M version you are running.
