scheduling table
It's not possible, the scheduling table is the minimum in scheduling criteria. You have to create another table where you can define it to use new user daily.

SQL jobs
If you need to convert sql jobs to control-M, there is no easy way I know (MS SQL SIS) can be schedules as it is. You have to check the Control-M/CM for databases module, or do the batch jobs which invoke sql executables, which return the needed return codes to Agent --> Server.

CTM/CM for messaging
Hi usage group, I'm totally batch oriented and now learning the SOA applications. I'm looking for the best practice to use the messaging module to read the flat files (text files) from the directory and put them to MQ Websphere message queue? I have succeeded to create the account in the agent with ...

The Finnish Banks doesn't accept anymore any of the fund transfers, via ftp in vpn or sftp, which can be done like batch jobs. The standard that banks have created based on the web services with xml file manipulation. I don't know if this is the case in all of the EU countries. I think that BPI coul...

SEPA known as single Europe payments area (CTM/CM for BPI)
Hi group, big changes are coming (bigger than euro) when the SEPA has started this year 2008 in Europe in practice (http://www.sepa.eu.com). The transition period is agreed to end of the 2010. We have a lot of customers which money transfer to banks we're providing as service in ordinary batch jobs,...

BMC support answers: Currently the BPI CM installation does not support NON-default agent environment. In BPI 6.3.02 which will be released around April 2008 this functionality will be included. We recommend our customers to activate the BPI on a default agent environment only. Unfortunately we don'...

Control-M Agent 6.3.01.200 Windows cluster and CM's
Hello colleagues, I've noticed that pre-requisites for the control-M/CM for BPI, for example requires the CTM Agent (6.3.01.) named "Default" installed in the windows box. However, you can't name the Agent installed in the cluster with that name. You have to install the local Agent, which can be nam...
